Recent Pledges

Monday, Sept. 18, 2006:
Robert of Key West, e-mailed a pledge of $250

$250.00 American! I think he would be an excellent head coach at any major university where he does not have a family member as his boss.

Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006:
DURP of Montana, e-mailed a pledge of $50

I am happy to see Jeffy on his way with a pledge of 50 bucks. Use it to buy a book of football plays he can take to his new job. Just make sure it has LOTS of pictures.

Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006:
James Drake of points unknown, e-mailed a pledge of $250

Jeff deserves a better opportunity... somewhere else other than FSU.
He needs to take the same route his brothers did and establish his own identity away from FSU.
Trying to measure up to the expectations of fans of a living legend is too much for anyone to bear... including myself.

Friday, Sept. 22, 2006:
Sean Linkenback of Atlanta, Ga., e-mailed a pledge of $250

The full $250 to help build the pledges faster and I will double it if Jeff is hired by Tommy.

Friday, Oct. 6, 2006 (at 2:45 a.m. hours after N.C. State fiasco):
Kevin Keenerk, e-mailed a pledge of $100

I'll pledge 100 american dollars as well, hopefully some 1-AA college will give jeff a chance he would
make an excellent coach there or a WR coach like he used to be.

Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006 :
NCNOLE, e-mailed a pledge of $1,000,000

I pledge $1,000,000 to any institution that will take J. Bowden out of Tallahassee and
allow him the opportunity to further his coaching experience at someone elses expense.

(HJB: We limit pledges to $250, so until NC can convince me he's good for this it won't make the totebaord total.)

Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 :
JJ of Monticello, Fla., e-mailed a pledge of $250

Jeff is reminder to all of us that we (the fans) don't "really know nuthin 'bout football" and he has done an excellent job of giving us something to help us forget about losing Mark Richt. Dadgummit, he's doing a fine job.... heck, he's led the ACC in offense a couple of years and his momma said he's a dadgum good boy. (Is dadgum one word or is it dad gum???)

(HJB: I'm not sure if there is an "official" spelling for it.
Fortunately, Jeff has driven me to the easier-to-spell 4-letter expressions.)

Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006 :
John Holloman , e-mailed a pledge of $450

I am pledging $450 if you guys can sell this a**h*** off.
Or maybe we can just come up with some plot to assassinate him.
Either way I'm down!

(HJB: Normally we limit the pledges to $250,
we'd also usually edit out calls for assasination, too.
But times they are a changin'.)

Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006:
"H. Johnson" - a GATOR FAN - e-mailed a pledge of $250

I will pledge $250 to see him go. I liked our rivalry in the old days, we miss it. Hey brother, we had the Zooker.....I feel for you. Remember when we would meet up every year with the title in the balance?

Friday, Sept. 22, 2006:
PizzaPaul of Gainesville - ANOTHER GATOR FAN - e-mailed a pledge of $100

I'll pledge $100 to help put Jeff in a new job. My beloved Gators are going to get passed over for a chance to play for the National Championship because playing FSU will hurt our Strength of Schedule for the BCS computers.

Make your pledge today! Jeff is counting on you!
